For as long as I can remember, I've loved visual design and held a huge appreciation for psychology. I can get genuinely excited by a typeface or a particular colour combination. I can be equally inspired by the power of those colours or the words created by a typeface to invoke an intended emotional response in people.
For me, the magic of brand communications is that it's a magnificent blend of art and science, requiring the perfect balance of left- and right-brain thinking to get the best results.
My 'a-ha' moment.
During my 15+ years working client-side in marketing & brand communications, my passion for all things brand-related was fully realised. It also gave me a first-hand understanding of 'what the client really wants' and I could see there was a genuine need for a service that provided quality, cost-effective design and artwork.
With a natural affinity to customer service and solid experience in both creative and business disciplines, I knew I had the skills and knowledge to really add value to other people's businesses.
In 2013, I bit the bullet and Brand In Glove was born.
